You definitely don't want to miss "The Big Dance" for NCAA Final Four going on at Discovery Green all weekend. It's a fun, free fan experience with activities, food and beverage courts, video monitors and live music in celebration of the 2011 NCAA Men's Final Four in Houston. Catch huge bands like Sublime with Rome on Friday, Kings of Leon on Saturday and Kenny Chesney headlines on Sunday. Only catch is you have to enter through a security gate because there will be limited park capacity. // The Disco Green 2 Electronic Music Festival returns on Apr. 16th 2-10 pm with internationally renowned house music DJs to create human energy that is free for all. // This year's Earth Day Festival takes place on Saturday, Apr. 23rd at Discovery Green with food, fun and family entertainment. // Bring at date to Spec's 8th Annual Cheese and Wine Festival happening today and tomorrow from 11 am to 7 pm at their midtown store. Sample wine and cheeses from all over the world! // The annual Heights Spring Home and Garden Tour goes on this weekend and it is a perfect time to explore the neighborhood. // Doggy Party on the Plaza is this Saturday at CityCentre so grab your pup and head down there for some four-legged fun! // Opera in the Heights presents "Pearl Fishers" composed by Georges Bizet, composer for "Carmen". // Running through April is "Sister's Easter Catechism: Will My Bunny Go to Heaven?" at Stages Theatre. If you haven't been to Stages yet, give it a try. The intimate setting is sure to make a big impression.// The Bayou Bend Childrens Party is Apr. 2nd at Bayou Bend Gardens and features lunch under a festive party tent, children´s entertainment and activities including arts and crafts, sack races and old-fashioned midway games. // The Woodlands Waterway Art Festival is Apr. 9-10 starting at 10 am and is a celebration of visual, culinary and performing arts. // Hits Theatre presents "Hairspray" at Miller Outdoor Theatre Apr. 7-16th. // Grub on crawfish and more at the 2011 Bayou Bash, Sat.
