An Incomplete Contract is Like Having Furry Teeth

An Incomplete Contract is Like Having Furry Teeth  I am sure that you are scratching your head and wondering what in the world I mean by this statement?  Let me explain!  We all know when we receive a contract that has been presented to us from another agent with missing information and blanks left, we know that this "missing information" will have to be discovered and completed.  For me personally, receiving these types of offers remind me of having the furry teeth syndrome. So why the furry teeth analogy?  The furry teeth syndrome happens when you haven't brushed your teeth in awhile.  When you go too long without brushing and flossing, you can develop a sensation of fur on your teeth and it is gross!  The taste and feel in your mouth is not pleasant. So yes, when you fail to put in information in all of the required blanks on a contract, you are leaving your clients wide open!  It is our job to insure that all aspects of a contract are completed prior to submitting an offer.  A poorly written contract with important missing information is just plain old frustrating and quite frankly unacceptable. Take the time to ensure that every nook and cranny of your offer is complete.  Don't expose your client's to "interpretation" of missing information.  Your offer will not be looked upon in a good light when it has been presented in a slip-shod manner.  Yuck, furry teeth and incomplete contracts.  Never a good thing!      "Have you fully lived today?"
