13 Hours ~ Movie Review

13 Hours ~ Movie Review We saw the movie 13 Hours the other evening and it left me with many thoughts and emotions.  First of all, the movie was intense, well done and important.  As Americans, it is important for us to know the behind the scenes of historical events. This movie is from the perspective of the brave men who stepped up to save many lives during the attack in Benghazi.  These men demonstrated the kind of bravery that should make every American very proud. They selflessly put their own lives on the line in order to save others. As we all remember from the news, we lost the Ambassador Chris Stevens as well as officer Sean Smith, two CIA operatives, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods.  The casualties would have been much greater had these men not stepped up when they did. I left the movie feeling angry that they did not receive any military help when they needed it.  We have folks stationed all over the world doing jobs to help keep us safe at home.  Keeping them safe when they are threatened should be of major importance. I highly recommend seeing this movie.  Just be prepared to be gripping the armrests and feeling exhausted after it is over.  I am glad I saw it and was able to see what when on from the perspective of these American heroes.       "Have you fully lived today?"
