Be sure to do your research when considering a refinance. 

Ask yourself these questions:
-What are my goals?
-How long do I plan to live in this home?
-Am I really saving in the long run?
-Have I shopped around?
-What is the APR versus the interest rate?
-Have I considered enough products?

While today's interest rates remain very low historically, many owners are jumping the gun to refinance.  They aren't considering the other factors and may end up regretting their quick decision to save a buck month to month.  In fact, it may be costing them more.

Be sure to do your research because the market isn't changing much, or may be declining.  Any investments should be heavily considered in a soft housing market.
