WineFest will celebrate its 10th anniversary on Thursday, April 28th when this “fun” raising event returns to Macy’s Furniture Gallery at The Woodlands Mall from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Benefitting the Montgomery County Women’s Center, WineFest 2011 will present an after-business-hours casual drop-in event where guests will experience fine wines, sample signature dishes from local restaurants and shop at the “MarketPlace” for goods and services needed by the clients and shelter.
Montgomery County Women’s Center provides safe shelter, crisis intervention, counseling, legal and support services to victims/survivors of family violence, sexual assault, stalking and abuse in Montgomery County and surrounding counties, and provides education to the community about such issues.
“This is a truly remarkable milestone as we celebrate ten years of WineFest,” said Sarah Raleigh, Executive Director of Montgomery County Women’s Center. “Thanks to the funds we have raised through our generous guests and sponsors, we have been able to provide critically needed services to our community.”
Jo Anne Lowry, MCWC board president, added, “Our annual fundraiser has been critical in helping the women, children and men in our community who are victimized by domestic violence and sexual assault. By attending or perhaps participating as a sponsor for WineFest, you will make a difference in the lives of so many.”
Individual tickets are $60 in advance and $75 at the door. Sponsorship levels range from $500 to $10,000. To purchase tickets or to inquire about sponsor contribution levels, please call (281) 292-4155 ext. 231. The Montgomery County Women’s Center is a 501C 3 nonprofit, private organization.
