Homeowners everywhere are struggling to pay their boom-era mortgages with their recession-era salaries.  This is putting a tremendous strain on the homeowners as well as the economy.  Now a recent report entitled “The Win/Win Solution: How Fixing the Housing Crisis Will Create One Million Jobs,” states that  writing down all underwater mortgages to market value would serve as a stimulus without added costs to taxpayers.
