New Homestead Exemption Rules

August 31st, 2011

In the last legislative session the Texas Legislature approved new standards for the application process for a homestead exemption. Beginning Sept 1, the application process is going to be more complex. The new forms will be posted on the appraisal district web site at hcad.org on Sept 1.
