Ahh the media or should I say Oh! the media. It amazes me that with rates at Historical levels that we don't have a better market although we should be greatful with what we have when looking at the rest of the country. God Bless Texas!! The lack of consumer confidance and the unwillingness by businesses small and large to expand and hire is low that November cannot come sooner. The amazing ability of media today to reach the world in blazing speed with all the negative rhetoric they can spew is difficult to bear. What about the good news? Why can't we use the glass is half full approach? For every negative stat or story there are plenty of positives stories that can be told especially when dealing with the war and economic news. Let's lift America not. Who would have thought we would see interest rates in the 3% range providing Americans with the opportunity to qualify for even more house or simply providing the ability to build equity even quicker in what they already own. How fantastic!!! The abilty to get financing is there although not a free for all like it was. People with the REAL ability to qualify even with just average credit is there all day and with only a 3.5% investment, you can't say that that is bad, it's awesome. Now the self employed person is still screwed by sins of others in the past since their ability to qualify has virtuall shut down and yet many of them have great long term credit ratings but just don't show tax returns to support the debt they carry. Banks really need to look at that since it's obvious their able to pay their bills, do the powers to be think it's just magic?

Ok I'm done for now but I would like to see more Americans speak more optimistically about our future. What a great country we have and I give thanks everyday that I live here especially in Texas...God Bless Everyone!!!

Well if you like a good roller coaster ride then you would like being a Realtor over the last year or so. Just when you think you've got things figured out it all changes again. The real bright side of our business has certainly been the rates and yet you can still find people say 5%? " Do you think they'll come down" Are you kidding me. Do you have any idea how many times rates have at those levels over the last 50 years?
But what a great adventure and life being able to meet people of all kinds and making them part of who you are. My family and i have been truly Blessed ( yes i said Blessed ) to have had been involved in Real Estate and help make the American dream come true for so many who have become our friends. O.K. enough of that...

Trends are looking good and believe it or not we even have hot markets within the market of fort Bend County. First Colony continues to set the bar but Pecan Grove, New Teritory and Greatwood are in great shape too....looking up

My impression is that we've seen the bottom so if your waiting for it you better get on because the upward trend is coming. Confidance is entering into a lot of areas of our every day lives and that translates into good news for Real Estate. We will be seeing a huge move to the south as a result of all this Recession, so be prepared their coming.
