As I posted last night, a home owner in Cypress Creek Lakes shot at a group of attempted robbers last night in front of his house.  It just so happens that ABC13 reported on an almost exact replica crime that happened to another Cypress family back in early December.

The similarities between the two crimes include:

• Family purchasing expensive electronics in Willowbrook Mall
• A red Mustang follows the family to their house in Cypress
• When the family gets home, men in the red Mustang jump out of the car with guns demanding the electronics

The obvious big difference in last night’s incident is that the home owner had a gun and used it on the perpetrators.

The police told my brother last night that the car matched several other similar crimes in the Willowbrook Mall area.  I am very thankful at least 2 of the men have been caught.
