Holiday Inn, Staybridge, and Cheddars Coming to Coles Crossing in Cypress, TX

As reported by Impact News on Friday, Coles Crossing is to become a new hotel hotspot over the next 12 months as a new Holiday Inn and Staybridge Suites will be built next to the Randall’s shopping center along with a new Cheddars Restaurant on Hwy 290 and Barker Cypress.

Details for the site being developed can be seen at the New Regional Planning website who is the broker for the Coles Crossing landowner.  I have also added the site maps from the New Regional Planning site below.

I have eaten at a few Cheddars locations and have always enjoyed the food and service.  The new restaurant will definitely be a nice addition to the Cypress area.

However, the big news here are the 2 hotels.  As touched on in the Impact News article, the growth out here in Cypress has been crazy over the past 10 years but not a single hotel has been built over that time.  If residents in Cypress have guests come to visit without room in their house to stay, those guests are forced to stay in the FM 1960 / Hwy 290 corridor or in a hotel off Hwy 249.  It will be very nice to have some options closer to home.
