Your child can act!  Theater camps provide a script, coaching, and a stage.  The usual camp is a week-long, half day camp.  Your child provides the talent.

Below is a list of camps in the North Houston area for the Summer of 2011.  There are many more camps available in other parts of town.  If you know of other camps, please leave them as a comment to this post.  As always, check with the camps themselves to confirm the details before including them in your summer plans.

Bridgeland Summer Drama Camp

Date:  July 25-29

Times: 9 AM – 12 Noon

Location: Lakeland Activity Center

Cost: $125 for Bridgeland residents;  $150 for non-residents

Ages: 5-7 Years & 8 and up

Applause Theatre

Date:  June, July, August

Times: both morning (9AM-12:30 noon) and afternoon (1:30 PM – 5 PM) times are available

Location: Applause Theatre is located at 6608 FM 1960 (behind the Mister Car Wash)

Cost: $215 (sign up for 3 or more camps reduces the cast to $175)
