Located less than two miles from US 290 in the Cypress area, Cypress Creek Lakes, which first opened in 2004, has added a 50-foot and a 70-foot building program to its existing 60-foot and 80-foot programs. The opening of Phase 3 represents the final phase of the 1,600-acre community which has a projected build out of six to seven years. At its completion, Cypress Creek Lakes will have approximately 2,000 homes.
“The additional programs represent a growing demand we’re seeing in the Houston market right now,” said Randy Corson,Vice President of Mischer Development.
Ashton Woods Homes and Lennar are unveiling new model homes on 50 foot homesites with prices starting in the $190,000s. Perry Homes and Newmark Homes have new model homes in the community’s new 60 foot homesite section with prices starting in the $240,000s. And Village Builders and Darling Homes are offering homes from the $320,000s on 70 foot homesites. Both have new model homes to showcase their product.
Perry Homes and Coventry Homes also offer new homes in the 80 foot section of Cypress Creek Lakes where homes start in the $350,000s. Both have model homes in Phase 1 of the community. A new 80 foot section will open in Phase 3 of Cypress Creek Lakes in early 2013 and will feature Perry Homes and Taylor Morrison Homes.
New Welcome Center/Recreation Center Site
Also new in Phase 3 is an eight-acre site which is the location of a new Welcome Center and third recreation center. The $3 million complex will include a recreation center with a clubhouse, exercise/fitness room, competition size pool and children’s pool, a splash pad/water spray park, a playground and picnic/barbecue area and a Welcome Center.
The new Welcome Center, Corson said, will be designed to serve as a one-stop information source for new-home shoppers in the Cypress area, and will provide specifics on homes, amenities and schools in Cypress Creek Lakes, as well as information on major points of interest in the Cypress area such as major employment, medical and retail centers.
The state-of-the-art Welcome Center will also have separate spaces for Realtors to work with clients and a unique interactive system that will enable home shoppers to get an idea of available homes, home site sizes and their location in relation to specific areas within the community.
Great American Dream Grand Opening
In addition to touring the seven new model homes in Phase 3 and the new Welcome and Recreation Centers, this weekend’s Grand Opening features entertainment, food and activities for home shoppers. From noon to 5 pm this Saturday and Sunday, home shoppers can stop by the new Welcome Center and enjoy a free old-fashioned candy parlor, prize drawings, face painting, free gifts, a balloon artist, and even get a fun family photo in a Shutterbooth. By picking up a “ballot” and voting for their favorite new model home in Phase 3, home buyers can register to win a Dream Vacation, no purchase necessary to win.
