When you bought your home, it was way out , sort of "in the country."  Now it's part of a city with traffic all around.  Count all the freeways & toll roads!

All the kids are now grown & their rooms are empty or guests rooms.  Just how many "guest rooms" do you really need?  Oh, and the swing set is now growing into the ground!

When you move the furniture, you see what color the carpet use to be.

Your applicances are  avocado green,  Harvest gold, & more than 1 repair man has told you  they no longer make "parts" for them when they break down. 

You want to remodel, add on, or change the exterior but you now have to get permission from a higher power because your home is now considered part of a "historical" area. 

You have more rentals in the area than actual home owners.  No, that doesn't add "value" to your place,  no matter how many improvements you've made. 

You've turned part of the garage into an "indoor" utility room and what use to be part of the master bath, you had to use to make bigger closets..(you should have moved before doing those 2 things)..
