Selling is really up to the Owners!
I don't believe Owners really understand how much that they need to help in selling their Property!
As Realtors / Agents go; are real job is to get as much attention to attract as many Buyers / Realtors / Agents as we can to SELL their property. We promote these properties by advertising it in print, yard signs, internet or as much as we can truly afford to advertise the property.
But when it comes down to selling or getting an offer; it really depends on the Owner
Owners need to understand that getting an offer really depends on how their home shows whether it be by Agent / Realtor
Owners need to:
· Make sure yard is well maintained (*most important nothing says more than CURB APPEAL)
· Clean the house and remove any odors within
· Learn how to stage a home; send me a message and I will be happy to send you an: “How to stage”
· Always be prepared for that “Showing Request” we cannot predicted when showings will happen!
As Realtors / Agents we have no clue as to when someone wants to show / visit your property so your property has to be ready 100% of the time when you sign a listing agreement.
· It’s an inconvenient I know, but you never want to turn down or declined a showing / visit request.
As suggested above, we need to show or allow those requesting a visit access to the property at their convenience and not yours; after all this is sells – meaning the buyer is right always right it’s the people we want to make an offer if they are willing and able to!
As salespeople we like to say; “Buyers need to smell it, feel it & touch it in order to buy it!”
All in all, your Realtor / Agent can only do so much and it mainly deals with the cost of marketing your property!
But it’s a waste of the Realtors / Agent’s “Money” if the client is not willing or able to help in getting their property “SOLD”…
