Cap Laundry Room Faucets Before You Move

January 9th, 2011

I'm going to link you to a blog I read this morning by Tom Branch of Re/Max Dallas Suburbs in Dallas, Texas titled: "Cap the Faucets Before You Move"

He describes walking into a listing and unexpectedly finding the floors soaked from a dripping laundry room faucet in a vacant home.  He recommends getting caps for the faucets, provides a photo of them, and tells you where to get them.  Apparently they also make one for an icemaker so that doesn't drip all over the kitchen floor.

Who knew?  Not me!  I had no idea such helpful little thingies existed, but appreciate the tip and am passing it on.
