I heard MainStreet America described as a perpetual showcase of homes, and while that is true, it is so much more. Yes, you can tour 12 fully decorated model homes in different styles from beachfront to  trendy urban contemporary at your own pace, guided by a cool hand-held integrated information device called TED (Technology Education Device).

So , if you  are the type of person who likes to tour model homes … or just go look at model homes … or get ideas from model homes, MainStreet America should be your next destination.

Notice TED is called an “education” device and MainStreet America is all about exploring and asking questions. .   Want to speak to an architect? You can do that. Want to see the difference between brushed nickel fixtures and polished nickel fixtures? You can do that. Trying to make up your mind between terrazzo or travertine tile – this will help.  Want to see a “whole” floor in the new wide-plank espresso-stained hardwoods …instead of a teeny sample in the flooring store --- well, MainStreet America would be the place to do that.
