FAT BOY’S Bait & Tackle sits conveniently located on Galveston West Bay.  If you live around here you don’t need any introduction.  Shirley & Robert Pike welcome fishermen from all over and always have the supplies they want and need for a good fishing experience.

Bait shops have their own type of communicating to the fishing population and Fat Boys’ is no exception. Flags are flown to represent the type of live bait available.  A white flag flying means live shrimp, a favorite among live bait users as most saltwater fish love making a meal out of these little critters.  A yellow flag means croaker abounds….trout is especially attracted to these guys.  Green will let you know that finger mullet is aplenty if that is your choice for bait.

Fat Boy’s also has a boat launch for those who trailer their vessels and the fishing pier is always free to use!
