When you take your pets to the vet, it’s almost as if you are taking your children to the doctor. Since pets are so much a part of our family, we want a vet that we can trust. This past Saturday, I dropped by the new Egret Bay Veterinary Hospital, located at the opposite end of the LA Fitness shopping center on League City Parkway at Highway 270 and met the staff, including Jacqueline Marcoux, DVM, the owner of the hospital, who has been practicing veterinary medicine in and around Houston for the past sixteen years.

Dr. Marcoux gave me a guided tour of the sparkling new facility and I must say, it was very impressive, with multiple rooms for treatment, surgery and boarding of animals. The staff was very personable and you walked away with a hometown feel that most citizens of League City have come to enjoy in our community. As Dr. Marcoux stated, the whole purpose of her business is to “serve, heal and uplift every individual that comes through our doors-our pets are precious members of our families and through caring for them we also form wonderful relationships with the entire family.”
