Post Office Street is the home to many great restaurants and the Farley Girls Cafe is the latest in East End dining choices.
Offering “a little bit of everything”, sisters Rosmond Thormahlen and Ryanne Duzich are getting rave reviews. The sisters grew up in the industry and became well versed in restaurant concepts and management. Their parents created Island favorites, Fish Tales and Fisherman’s Wharf, which were later sold.
The “Mile High Meatloaf”, “Shrimp Burger”, pulled pork and bread pudding are some of the more popular menu items. The cafe also offers pizzas, panini sandwiches and salads, among other fare.
Farley Girls Cafe hours are 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and is located within walking distance of the University of Texas Medical Branch at 801 Post Office Street.
