Aside from the Presidential and Vice-Presidential debates highlighting the weeks running up to the November 6th election, don’t forget we have a few spots to fill in League City. City Council Position #3 (Mick Phalen vs. Heidi Thiess), Position #4 (John Babcock vs. Todd Kinsey and Jay Ewend) and Position #5 (Geri Bentley vs. Phyllis Sanborn) are all up for grabs. Additionally, there are 7 propositions to vote for, ranging from term limits to the infamous photographic traffic enforcement devices (those cameras that catch you when you don’t stop long enough at a light before making a right-hand turn).

And don’t forget all the other elections pertaining to state representatives, sheriffs, district clerks and probably a few dogcatcher positions.

Exercise your rights and vote, as long as it’s for the person I want elected!
