The Bay Area Alliance for Youth & Families Medication “Take it Back” event held on September 29, at the Victory Lakes UTMB Specialty Center was a success!  With the help of Friendswood Police Dept, DEA, U of H Police Academy Cadets, and the U of H Pharmacy students, a total of 685 pounds of unused, unwanted and expired medications were collected.  This was the largest collection to date, and brings the total collection to 2,486 pounds from all “Take it Back” events.
