The City of League City officially kicks off the Holiday Season with an Open House at the Helen Hall Library on Thursday, November 29, at 5pm. The Helen Hall Library Staff, Library Board and the Friends of Helen Hall Library will host the Open House from 5 pm – 6:30 pm. During that time, the Teen Advisory Board will provide crafts for children as they wait to see special guest, Santa, who will arrive at 5 pm. While Santa is talking with children, he will be happy to have his picture taken by parents. Cookies provided by members of the Friends of Helen Hall Library, and drinks will be available for all.
Following the Open House, at 6:30 pm the party will move outside. Everyone is invited to sing carols and gather around the Christmas Tree located to the side of the library. Santa will be on hand as the tree is officially lit. The lighting of the tree is co-sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Council 9310 and the League City Parks and Recreation Department.
Helen Hall Library is located at 100 West Walker. For more information, visit the library’s website or call 281.554-1101.
