The Farmer’s Market located at Clear Lake Shores started small, but it has grown “like a weed” – “fertilized” by the interest of local residents and the popularity of the vendors who have joined in the weekly Saturday morning activity. Clear Lake Shores Farmers Market is a non-profit outlet for locally-grown fruit, vegetables, and other homemade products. The market is operated by volunteers who care about their community and the vendors are local citizens providing the freshest foods from their own establishments. Clear Lake Shores Farmers Market is a Texas certified farmers market.
Every Saturday (Rain or Shine), from 9 am to 1 pm, you will see the white tents along FM 2094 (across from Jackie’s Brickhouse – Next to Skipper’s Restaurant) and many people purchasing fresh produce, kids enjoying a fun activity, and you’ll hear live music! Here is just a short list of businesses who you might find when you stop by: Froberg’s Farm, RELEAF, Faith’s Garden, Nisha’s Indian Food, Brenhams Kitchen, Alamo Tamales, Bark N Biscuit, Fireflower Jewelry, Gulf Coast Gourmet, Delafield Pottery, and Knife Sharpening.
Start your weekend out by visiting this local market, sample some food, enjoy the sunshine and help support local businesses! I’ll see you under the white tents!
