League City Event Announcement ~ “With the new Texas Open Carry law taking effect Jan. 1, 2016, the League City Police Department is hosting an information meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. to answer citizen questions about the new law.   The meeting will be held at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center located at 400 West Walker St., League City, Texas.

League City Police Chief Michael W. Kramm, Galveston County District Attorney Jack Roady andCity Attorney for League City Nghiem Doan will answer questions on the new legislation to clarify concerns and aid in the successful implementation of the law.
