I've called The Woodlands home for ten years now and in all these years I've never had any reason to complain about this community. Is a great place to live, really. I don't say it just because I must, but out of experience, as someone who has called The Woodlands home for a decade and is raising a family here.

The Woodlands has several advantages that have made my life easier. As someone who is used to travel, having the airport just 15 minutes away is a real blessing. You might wonder if living 25 miles away from downtown Houston translates into a boring lifestyle. All the opposite. For one, you can get to downtown in 30 minutes and on the other hand, The Woodlands offers everything you need and more. Town Center The Woodlands features The Woodlands Mall and Market Street The Woodlands, where you can find all you can imagine for shopping and dinning. From exclusive boutiques to big retailers, and popular restaurants, The Woodlands gives you all you need.

If you are looking for a night out with friends, Waterway Square, along the Woodlands Waterway, offers a wide variety of pubs, bars and restaurants to spend the weekend nights celebrating and meeting with your friends for a beer or dinner.

If you are an outdoors person, you can always enjoy the hundreds of parks and parkways that are located within The Woodlands, and the George Mitchell Nature Preserve, where you can enjoy some mountain biking. The Woodlands features three different branches of YMCA, with plenty of activities for all the family.

Schools in The Woodlands belong to the districts of Conroe, Tomball and Magnolia, all of the awarded for their excellence and several excellent private schools such as John Cooper School and St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School are located in The Woodlands.

Hospitals in The Woodlands include Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital, St. Luke's The Woodlands Hospital and St. Luke's Lakeside Hospital; all of them with world-class technology and services, assuring you will get the best care if you ever are in need of going to the hospital.

In summary, The Woodlands is a great place to live, which offers not only a great lifestyle, but a wide variety of homes. Homes in The Woodlands are divided in different villages, with different sizes, styles and prices.
