In conjunction with the 28th Annual Lighting of the Doves, iWOW will also take place at Town Green Park on Saturday, November 20, 2010 from 3 pm – 9 pm.
With its “street fair” atmosphere, iWOW showcases the holiday traditions from Japan, Panama, the United States and a myriad of other countries at exhibits along the banks of The Woodlands Waterway?.
From foods, arts & crafts, to music and entertainment, iWOW is certain to add an international flavor to The Woodlands holiday celebrations.
Entertainment featured during iWOW includes traditional Indian dances from the Rathna Kumar & Anjali Center for Performing Arts, performances from The Olympic Dancers, lavish routines from dynamic dance troupe Soraya & La Zambra Belly Dance, music from Yelba’s Variety Band, and the headlining performer, Kaminari Taiko of Houston, and so much more.
Attendees to this year’s festivities will, also, find an array of activity and concession booths along Town Green Park.
Enjoy decadent cookies, hot chocolate and packaged goods at the Hubbell & Hudson booth, become the next NBA star as Legends Sports Complex presents an interactive basketball goal, or learn the art of origami and calligraphy with The Woodlands High School Japanese Club…just to name a few.
Admission to iWOW is free and open to the public.www.iWOWinTheWoodlands.com
