It’s time for the summer series of The Woodlands Township Recreation Center’s Gorilla Hole. This fun, safe, social program – a favorite with fifth and sixth graders and their parents – begins Friday, June 3, 2011, at the Recreation Center, 5310 Research Forest Drive, from 7 to 9:45 p.m. Admission is $7 per person.
The summer series of Gorilla Hole is held on the first and third Fridays of June, July and August. Each event includes activities tailored to a special theme.
• June 3, 2011 – Luau – wear Hawaiian-themed clothes and enjoy some summer fun
• June 17, 2011 – Funky Friday – show up in your funkiest outfit and win a prize
• July 1, 2011 – Freedom to Have Fun – join your friends in some patriotic fun
• July 15, 2011 – Futuristic Friday – wear a futuristic outfit for some out-of-this-world fun
• August 5, 2011 – Disney Night – dress as your favorite Disney character and watch a new Disney movie
• August 19, 2011 – Back to School Bash – break the school rules with a texting contest and much more!
