Live music and entertainment returns to Waterway Square this fall as the popular, free concert series, “Live at Night” returns every Saturday beginning September 10, 2011 thru October 1, 2011 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
This free event features a variety of entertainers including:
• September 10 – Shellee Coley and Folk Family Revival
• September 17 – Tim Nichols and Southern Slang
• September 24 – Bayou Roux
• October 1 – Yelba

“This event has become a favorite among visitors to The Woodlands and we look forward to kicking off the fall season with great music,” says Nick Wolda, president of The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Live at Night attendees will find parking in the Waterway Square Parking Garage (between Fountain Plaza and Woodloch Court), 24 Waterway Parking Garage (at corner of Fountain Plaza & Lake Robbins Drive), the surface parking lot at the corner of Waterway Avenue and Timberloch Place and the corner of Six Pines and Lake Robbins Drive as well as curbside along Lake Robbins Drive, Waterway Avenue, Waterway Square Place and Timberloch Place. Parking costs vary.
Live at Night is open to the public thanks to the generous sponsors: The Woodlands Development Company, Kyle Sherburne – State Farm Insurance, Munday Chevrolet and Berripop Frozen Yogurt.
Waterway Square, located along Lake Robbins Drive between Waterway Avenue and Woodloch Forest Drive, features a 120-foot long, 10-foot high stone water wall where ribbons of water flow down seven terraced levels to a lower pond with 20 cascade jets. The water wall is flanked by stairs and stepped water cascades, all leading to an upper fountain containing 80 jets and three boomer jets that shoot water up to 75 feet high. The water jets, waterfalls and cascades are designed to create a variety of displays and effects ranging from the subtle flow of water over a stone wall to dancing columns of water, to intense bursts of water shooting several stories into the air. Waterway Square features seven speakers on the upper level and 12 speakers on the lower level.
