I must have been born with a ladle in my hand for I am a compulsive cook. I also have this unconquerable need to feed people. Hello. My name is Kala and I am the one with the apron behind Feast Of Greens, a personal chef service based in The Woodlands. This new venture is a culmination of many dreams and one that brings my two greatest joys together – cooking and feeding. The security of knowing that there is a healthy, wholesome meal waiting for you especially when you need help the most is just immeasurable. This is where I come in. This is what I do best. I take care of people.
As a life-long vegetarian, I know that a good vegetarian table is not just one without meat but an artful creation in its own right. There are endless possibilities when it comes to enjoying a meat free lifestyle. I wish to introduce you to the wide variety of foods consumed by people like me worldwide. My daily plate is anything but just salads. I eat a range of soups, stews, pastas, bread and desserts using whole grains, lentils, legumes and the entire rainbow of fruits and vegetables. I believe that by engaging my service, you will find yourself expanding your food opportunities more than you ever thought possible.
My menu reflects how I like to eat everyday. Simple, honest food made with fine ingredients. My dishes are visually stunning; full of flavor and so incredibly satisfying that you can continue to nurture your lifestyle effortlessly. Many of my recipes are naturally lower in fat, gluten-free, dairy-free and/or vegan. Others can possibly be prepared around your sensitivities and dietary choices.
It is a fact that great vegetarian food is not easy to come by in The Woodlands but that does not mean you have to settle for any less. Nourish your family with delicious, wholesome, fresh foods prepared in your own kitchen by me.
