Day 1 of the Japan Festival was a hit! Great entertainment and LOTS of visitors. It was a great day to be raising money for Japan Quake Relief. I helped volunteer at the JACL booth, serving Beef Bowls (Japanese GYUDON). We will be donating a generous portion of our profits to the relief efforts.
Our booth was out of control! I don't know how all 7 of our rice cookers couldn't keep up with our customers, and our microwave was zen zen DAME! It took 10 minutes just to heat up a small package of frozen edamame. We had long lines waiting for us most of the day. But, it was fun and I saw a lot of my real estate clients- Hiromi, Nick and Mieko, Ed, Ken, Yukiko,Yumi and Marcelino, Yuko. I bet I'll see many more tomorrow! Mata ashita...gambarimashou.
