Thank you to the Tate Family for hosting a wonderful birthday party at the Bayou Wildlife Park.  Who would have known that there is a beautiful wildlife safari park so close to Clear Lake!!  From the Bayou Wildlife Park website:  "An adventure-filled tram ride with experienced wildlife guides will take you over 80 acres of natural habitat. We have alligator ponds and three monkey islands. See and feed animals and birds from Africa, India, Asia, Australia, and North and South America. Pony rides and a petting zoo are also available for the kids."

It really was a fun time.  We saw all kinds of animals UP CLOSE!  From Clear Lake, take I-45S towards Galveston.  Exit 517 and turn right (west).  Go about 3 miles and you will see a big sign for Bayou Wildlife Park.  Here's the website:  http://www.bayouwildlifepark.com/animals.html
