HAR IAG and Houston Mayor

A wonderful evening was had by all at the 2014 Greater Houston Partnership's annual Soiree with the Consular Corp of Houston. Did you know that Houston has the third largest Consular Corp in the United States? New York is #1 and Los Angeles is #2. But, Houston is 3rd and is home to 94 consulates. These consular officials develop economic, commercial, scientific, and cultural relations between the countries they represent and Houston.

As a member of the Houston Association of Realtors, International Advisory Group, I was able to attend this Soiree with 9 of my colleagues on Sept 6, 2014 at the ritzy Hotel ZaZa. It was fun getting all dressed up and meeting different members of the Consular Corp, as well as elected officials from the City of Houston. One such member was the Honorable Mayor, Annise Parker!
