The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo wrapped up its 84th season on March 20 at NRG Park. Total 2016 attendance for all activities on the grounds were 2.46 Million. Rodeo concert attendance was 1.34 Million for 2016.

Auction Sales for 2016 were 

Steer-$4.40 Million, Lamb and Goat- $2.22 Million, Barrow $2.30 Million, School Art-$1.96 Million, Champion Wins $1.40 Million, Poulty $1.35 Million
