Sugar Land Sellers Turning to Leasing over Price Reductions

July 29th, 2009

Those buyers who have been sitting on the fence waiting for big price reductions may be disappointed to find many sellers are now turning to leasing. As relocation families continue to enter the Sugar Land market, many have been unable to sell their homes elsewhere. These families are leasing in the short term and the upscale rental market is doing quite well. As an option to deep discounts, many of our home sellers are choosing to offer their homes for sale or lease while waiting for the market to stabilize and prices to increase. The bargain hunter is on the loosing end as many of these tenants will develop a bond with their rental home and likely choose to purchase it once their home is sold.
