Last night the Fort Bend ISD school board voted to delay any school closures for at least a year. It also appears to confirm no new schools will be built within Telfair. In addition, zoning projections don't justify new schools in this central location. Combine the lack of neighborhood schools with increased air traffic from the expanding Sugar Land airport, the developer selling out the school land for other yet unknown uses and a drill site inside the community that may become more attractive in the face of increasing oil prices, will this community retain it's value. I expect larger homes will be increasingly difficult to resale. I have been cautioning my buyers over the past year against this community. Time will tell.
