Development COO loses his cool with Sugar Land Residents

February 19th, 2011

Johnson Development Presentation, Feb 17, 2011
Sugar Land residents expressed their opposition to Johnson Development's proposal to build 1600 multifamily units and 200 Townhomes in the Imperial Sugar Mill Redevelopment Planned Development (PD); that's far from the original development plan presented in 2007. The 2007 plan reflected on 459 units in this area of the PD. The confrontation was quite heated and I expect will continue. Johnson Development was aware of the 2007 plan when they stepped in as a partner and now they want to claim this is the only way the devlopment will "work".
