Telfair residents have tried speaking before Sugar Land City Council with no results, as far I am aware. As the Candidate for District 1, I have indicated I WIL NOT vote in favor of additional new requests for residential construction in areas where schools are at or near capacity. With apartments planned for Telfair and Riverstone, and now this HUGE proposal to build 900+ apartments in my district, we need to put the brakes on uncontrolled construction until the school problems are resolved. Contact your unopposed Candidate, Bridget Yeung, and demand she stand up for the families and children in your district. Enough is enough.
