REALTOR(S) Supporting Sugar Land Apartments

June 6th, 2011

Johnson Development, in  my opinion, is courting local REALTORS(S) who are now blogging in support of building high density apartments throughout Sugar Land. It's home ownership and top schools that have made Sugar Land unique. As a Sugar Land home owner and REALTOR(R) in this market, I won't sell out my clients and I will continue to fight to preserve our property values. Let's not destroy the success of our community. Sugar Land residents can sign the petition to stop high density apartments in Sugar Land at

The "blogging" and recent comments in support of apartments indicate our Sugar Land economy cannot be successful without apartments. See the excerpt from the Fort Bend Independent newspaper and letter to the Mayor of Sugar Land below:

"If you believe that it's important to our city's economy to attract young professionals to the type of housing they prefer, then you will approve the requested multifamily. And if you want our city's restaurants and retail stores to flourish, then you will approve more multifamily throughout the city to help increase our population density."
— Les Newton, President, Planned Community Developers, Sugar Land.
