Sugar Land Citizens were able to defeat 1 of three Sugar Land Bond proposals and narrowly lost two others. This should help keep the 5 cent tax increase at a lower level while developers dip into their own pockets to pay for amenities in their planned communities, as has always been tranditionally done. Thank you to all the great residents who joined in our grass roots efforts to defeat special interest groups looking for a piece of the pie. Sugar Land is a great community with wonderful parks and bike trails throughout.
