"Stop Ashby Hi Rise" signs are being picked up

October 1st, 2009

The Ashby Hi Rise saga continues. The latest is that a truck is going around Southampton picking up all the "Stop Ashby Hi Rise" signs and throwing them away. As a result, there is a $500 reward for identifying this sign stealing truck.  Both sides are still aggressive in their grass roots efforts. It should be noted that the City of Houston prohibits signs in any right of way so signs need to be placed in one's personal property.
