Houston's Light Rail Phase Two

Metro Solutions Phase Two proposes an 11 mile addition of the Metro Light Rail from University of Houston west, past the Galleria. The light rail would travel west on Richmond so Richmond, Greenbriar and Shepherd will need to be torn up to replace storm sewer lines before the light rail is installed. The proposed route down Post Oak (between Dillards and the Galleria) would have 23 stop lights. That's one way to limit car traffic on Post Oak - no one will want to drive on that street anymore!
