In 2009, 14 homes sold in Southside Place (excluding several private sales). The sales prices ranged from $375,000 for a lot on Bellaire Blvd to $2,275,000 for a new construction by YAGO. The average days on market was 4 months but many of these were re-listed homes that were on the market for 6 months to a year before. The 6 homes currently on the market are re-listed from last year. Interesting to note that new construction permits dropped to only 2 in 2009 versus 5 permits in 2008 and 8 permits in 2007. The high-end, new construction homes sales are slow across the city.
