Get ready - Houston's deadline for the Compostable Bag Program is April 5. The city will require thsi compastable bag for the collection of all green organic matter (leaves, grass clippings, etc).  Don't assume that your yardman will have these new bags!  If the city sees plastic bags in your front yard/garbage bin, you will be fined! Stock up on these bags at Kroger, Randalls, Walmart, Lowes, Home depoit, Berings and Ace.
