AstroWorld Site Sold

June 8th, 2010


AstroWorld's 104 acre site sold to a Fort Worth investment partnership led by the Mallick Group.  This huge former theme park that lies just south of Reliant Stadium has been unused since the theme park locked it's gates about 5 years ago. The new owner says that the site will continue to sit unused. The owner intends to hold it 5-10 year and let it appreciate in order to simply resell.
