Tower Theater on Westheimer, one block west of Montrose Blvd is getting a new tenant - a gourmet Tex-Mex restaurant. Houston just can't get enough of our favorite food but this local promises to be different from the rest! Bill Floyd and Bryan Caswell of Reef are teaming up with Robb Walsh, a local food critic, to create the still un-named restaurant. They intend to restore the theater as much as possible by exposing original tile walls, etc. The owners will also play homage to the cite's history by screening vintage B&W Mexican movies while diners mingle about. Another Houston fave - the patio.  This 8500 sq ft patio is sure to accommodate your large group that Escalantes in Highland Village cannot. I'm really looking forward to this opening!
