River Oaks Shopping Center on W Gray continues to have success leasing out it's space (I don't think West Ave is having the same success but maybe after Tootsie's moves in, other vendors will make the leap.)

First off, we can expect a new restaurant. executive chef of Ibiza, Charles Clark, treated my book club to a home cooked dinner last night at a friend's house. I thought he was giving us the inside scoop but I think the news is out. He is will open Brasserie 19, a new concept restaurant, in the current location of Tony Mandola's on W Gray. Mandola's fans, don't collapse, Tony Mandola's is just moving a few blocks away on W Dallas. Apparently they bought the land so that has to more cost effective than the renting River Oaks Shopping Center.  Good for them. But look for Brasserie 19 to come! 

Also, big news, Urban Retreat is relocating above the Barnes & Noble along with an old fashioned barber shop for all those men who still resist the "metro" label.
