Monday, October 25th at 6:30pm - Early Literacy Workshop: Talkers, 2-3 yrs. These programs teach adults how to help their children learn important skills now so they can become good readers. Each person attending will receive a certificate for 2 clock hours of professional development. Call or visit the Children's Librarian to register.
Wednesday, October 27th - Libraries across the state are participating in Texas Library Snapshot Day by collecting statistics, comments, and photographs from a typical day. Please stop by on October 27 to use our computers, check out books, attend a program, visit with library staff, and tell us what you think. Wednesday, November 3rd at 7:00pm - Open Mic Poetry Night with special guest poets Oscar Peqa, Donna Pauley, and Rebecca Travis. Come read your own poems or share poems by other authors. Refreshments provided.
