Friendswood: Discharging Fireworks in City Limits is Unlawful
June 20th, 2011

The Friendswood Fire Marshal's Office would like to remind everyone that it is unlawful for any person to possess or discharge any fireworks within the city limits of Friendswood.
The Friendswood Fire Marshal's Office and the Friendswood Police Department will be issuing citations to anyone caught possessing or discharging fireworks.
The best way to enjoy fireworks is to visit the City's public fireworks display at the 2011 Friendswood Fourth of July Celebration, "One Nation, United We Stand", at Centennial Park. This program is conducted by professional licensed pyrotechnicians, and the Friendswood Volunteer Fire Department will be on standby during the fireworks display.
