Tuesday, October 11th at 7pm Book Club will discuss Room by Emma Donoghue. Book Club meets the 2nd Tuesday each month at 7:00 p.m. Refreshments are provided.

Wednesday, October 12th at 7pm Meet new author Rosanne Givens-Scott and learn about alternative publishing options: New author Rosanne Givens-Scott will share her experience with alternative publishing methods. Rosanne is a former public school teacher and counselor. She lives in Friendswood, Texas.

Thursday, October 13th at 6:30pm Computer Class: Managing Files and Folders. Learn how to store and organize your computer files.

Thursday, October 20th at 6:30pm Classic Movie Night with Cat People starring Simon Simone, Kent Smith, and Jane Randolph. Directed by Jacques Tourneur in 1942. This black and white film is not rated and is 73 minutes long.

Monday, October 24th at 6:30pm Early Literacy Workshop: Every Child Ready to Read. Talkers: Two and Three-Year-Olds. Free for parents, teachers & caregivers. Wednesday, November 2nd at 6:30pm Communication Skills for Getting Along and Getting Things Done: Excellent communication in both personal and working relationships comes down to honing skills that help you find the balance between achieving your goals and maintaining good relationships. In this 90 minute mini-workshop, Friendswood resident Amy Castro will share some of her favorite communication skills from her book, "Practical Communication: 25 Tips, Tools, and Techniques for Getting Along and Getting Things Done." If you'd like to improve your communication skills and enhance your relationships, don't miss this program.

Tuesday, November 8th at 7pm Book Club will discuss Night by Elie Weisel. Book Club meets the 2nd Tuesday each month at 7:00 p.m. The library has several copies of the book. Refreshments are provided.
