Friendswood Office of Emergency Management is actively monitoring severe weather in our area.
Widespread 2-3 inches has fallen over Friendswood today with another strong band of heavy rainfall approaching from the south. Additional rainfall is expected over the next few hours, leading to some additional street flooding. The Friendswood EOC has registered a total of 4.25" of rain in the last 24 hours with 2.87" of rain received within the last 12 hours. Clear Creek @ FM 2351: Bank is 16.6' and current level is 11.7'
Clear Creek @ Bay Area Blvd: Bank is 7.5' and current level is 4.86'
Chigger Creek @ Windsong: Bank is 28.6' and current level is 26.95'
Mary's Creek @ Melodywood: Bank is 27' and current level is 22.1'
Cowart Creek @ Baker: Bank is 28.8' and current level is 24.67'
